  3. Love, love, love it there! Was there for the first time 18 years ago! Went back last year! Crazy for the thermal baths! Did you get to any of them?

  4. I visited Budapest, back in August 1993. It was a fabulous city. We were lucky to be there on the Hungarian National Holiday – seeing a wonderful firework display over the Danube. This was not long after the end of the Cold War, I wonder how it has changed in the last 21 years.

  5. I didn’t realise how beautiful Budapest was until I went there last year. I love the view of the city from the Fishermans Bastion. I can’t wait to get back there one day! Great pictures 🙂

  12. Lovely City. I was there in 1990 and said I would come back. It hasn’t happened so this is good motivation to go back with my wife to share this cool city. Nice photos!

  13. Budapest has long been high on my list of places to see. However, since moving to France, I seem to want to explore France exclusively. Great post!

  14. I don’t know what but there’s something about Budapest that intrigues me. With the city divided into Buda and Pest, it becomes very easy to navigate. I miss the Hungarian goulash a lot, YUM!
