How To Reach

DSC01850

Although we have in Siena an airport (Siena Ampugnano Airport), but for now it is a small  military airfield.

However we have very good connections with Florence and Pisa.

You can also get here easily from Bologna, Rome and Milano.

FLORENCE

From Florence to Siena you can come by bus or by train. The bus terminal and  the Central Train Station are in the center very close to each other. If you are coming from the Florence airport   the airport shuttle bus will bring you directly there.

Buses for Siena are leaving very often and you should know that is easier and faster way to get to Siena center then by train .

Your travel by bus Rapida will take about one hour. Single ticket costs 7,80 €.

  2. Thanks for checking out my blog on Thailand. I have a friend currently in Italy on holiday including Pisa and Florence. I will ask her about Siena. Her pics have been lovely. Next time I’m in Europe with some free time I will try to stop for a while in Italy. You have encouraged me, thank you.

  3. Thank you for stopping by on my blog. I would love to visit vienna and I guess the search to being in that place is over with all the information I have out here on this blog. Indeed a great job. Hope to see this beautiful place soon. Good day 🙂

  4. I was in Siena two months ago, on May 29th! I totally fell in love with the place, I wish I could live there forever! I took a regionale train from Firenze and in 1 hour and thirty minutes I was in Siena. Siena is the most beautiful and magic city in Toscana, Siena should be the capital of Toscana not Firenze 😉 I’m coming again in Siena on Christmas! (I also liked a lot Arezzo) You have a very beautiful country, I’ve been in 7 italian cities so far! Siena is my favorite!!
